As a Christian, I am sure you have probably heard of The Alpha Course. But have you really examined the content of the course? There are many videos in the course. So it may seem quite a daunting task to undertake.
The Bible is very clear, that if it involves us, then we should examine such things.
"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." 1 Thess 5:21
Perhaps you have taken part in some of the course, or know someone who runs it. May I encourage you to watch the following video of a pastor interviewing me (Nigel Williams, founder of Printing-Evangelism) on the very subject.
I don't profess to know the heart of every person who runs the course. Nor do I think that God can't use the course in some way to draw a person unto Jesus. After all, I came to faith during a time where I was heavily involved in the course. In fact I helped run the course for many years in one way or another.
